Campus Location and Transportation
City’s main campus is located on Northampton Square, in the heart of East London (near Clerkenwell, Barbican, Farringdon, and Moorgate), offering excellent transport links with access to the Underground, Overground, and numerous bus routes. The greatest value of this location lies in students’ direct access to the City of London, media hubs, legal institutions, and the innovation and startup community. As an admissions counselor, I often emphasize that in a resource-rich city like London, campus location is a natural advantage for students to build professional networks and secure internship opportunities—and City excels in this regard. City University London Transcript Grade Calculation
The final degree classification is not a simple average of grades but is derived through a comprehensive weighted calculation based on the credit hours of each course and their proportion of the total academic year. The specific calculation steps are as follows:
- Grading Scale: A percentage-based system is used, where 70% or above is a First, 60–69% is a 2:1, and so on.
- Weighting Algorithm: The core is the weighted average of credits. The grade for each course must be multiplied by its credits, and the total is then divided by the total number of credits to arrive at the average.
- Graduation Requirements: Undergraduate students must complete 360 credits and achieve a minimum average grade of 50%.
