Outstanding Graduate Employment Outcomes
Kadir Has’s graduate employment data serves as the strongest testament to the value of its degrees. The overall employment rate exceeds 70%, with graduates in information technology-related fields being particularly sought after. Computer engineering graduates can pursue high-paying careers in computer network management, systems analysis, e-commerce, and software development, while graduates in economics and administrative sciences find employment in financial institutions, multinational corporations, non-governmental organizations, and research centers both domestically and internationally.
The university has established a dedicated Career Development Office, which provides a range of services including one-on-one career counseling, resume review sessions, company visits, and internship placement. Through a mentorship program in collaboration with industry professionals and a campus-wide alumni network, KadirHas has built a comprehensive transition system from the classroom to the workplace, continuously enhancing graduates’ adaptability to the industry and their competitiveness in the job market.
Attractive Tuition and Scholarships
KadirHas offers highly competitive tuition and scholarship policies for international students. The standard annual tuition for international undergraduate and graduate students is $15,000; however, the university awards scholarships based on academic performance. After evaluation of academic records and application materials, the net tuition after scholarship reductions can range from $6,000 to $9,000 per year. Some applicants may even qualify for up to 65% tuition reduction, significantly alleviating the financial burden of studying abroad.
The cost of living in Istanbul is highly competitive among major European cities, with annual housing costs ranging from approximately $2,700 to $3,500. The total annual budget for studying abroad is roughly $12,000 to $15,000. The application deadlines for international students at Kadir Has University are May 8, 2026 (for select programs) and July 22, 2026 (for other programs). International students are advised to submit their complete application materials as early as possible to increase their chances of securing a scholarship.
Why is this university so popular?
In the Turkish University Satisfaction Survey (TÜMA), which included 200 universities and 51,000 students, the university achieved an overall satisfaction score of 491. It ranks among the top five in Istanbul and 13th nationally, earning an “A-grade” satisfaction rating.
In the Turkish University Experience Survey (TÜDA) conducted by YÖK in 2025, with over 264,000 students participating in the evaluation, in the rankings across six major categories—libraries and information resources, administrative services, learning environment, institutional communication and information, research support, and campus safety— KHAS ranked among the top five nationally in each of these six categories. It also placed in the top ten across ten categories, including academic processes and teaching quality, physical environment and facilities, and alumni and career support. Students awarded such high scores due to three distinctive features of the university.
First, the university is located near Cibali, a historic district in the heart of Istanbul, close to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, just a few minutes’ walk from Taksim Square, and offers beautiful views of the Sea of Marmara;
Second, the university employs project-based learning to empower students to become researchers; third, a scholarship rate as high as 75% makes quality education accessible to all. A KHAS student remarked, “This university offers high standards of teaching and career guidance services. It feels like home to me, especially since the English-language instruction has been very helpful for my studies. My Russian friends are all envious of the sea view I get to enjoy.”
